Aono Ohki/Sasaki is the daughter of Isao Ohki and Mrs. Sasaki and the younger sister of Tsuyoshi Ohki.

She attends Jinbou Elementary School with Tsuyoshi and she is in second grade during the first season. She is friendly with Sana Kurata, who convinces her that an egg she bought hatched into a chick (much to Akito Hayama's disapproval). When the chick, Pyoco, grows up, she's forced to part with him due to him crowing in their small, cramped apartment.
After her parents divorce, she and her brother live with their mother and she is not as affected by the divorce as her brother, but now Tsuyoshi has to compensate and act as both a father/brother figure to her.
