The Bunkoban Edition of the Kodocha manga (sometimes called the Third Edition, or just "bunko" edition) was released throughout 2007.

- The bunkoban edition is esentially the same as the tankōbon edition, though it has more chapters per book, therefore less books overall (7, as opposed to 10). Though the Kanzenban Edition retains the same format in this regard.
- The books in the bunkoban edition are also physically smaller. With the books being A6 size (105 mm [width] × 148 mm [height], 4.1 in × 5.8 in). See size comparison between other editions below.
- This edition is generally considered to be a budget option.
