The Kodocha Light Novels were released from June 1996, to August 1997 and were published by Cobalt-Pinky (an imprint of Shueisha). They were written by Ryosuke Takahashi, and adapt the events of the anime (not the manga) into novelization form, and covers events such as the Classroom Chaos Arc, and the Homeless Arc. There are 7 books total.
