Synopsis[]
15-year-old 1st year high school student Sana Kurata worries about her image after being cast in a movie. She feels better after getting her hair done at a salon, at the recommendation of her friends.
Plot[]
Sana Kurata, now a 15 year old highschool student, brushes her hair while dwelling on her nervous feelings about a movie she's recently been cast in called "Planet 3037" directed by Mikio Ono. She hasn't been in a film in some time, and worries she's inadequate in some way.
The next day at school, she expresses these feelings to Fuka Matsui, and Aya Sugita. Fuka tells Sana how changing her hair or clothes could help her feel better, and mentions how in her own experiences, cutting her hair short helped her quell a similar feeling. Sana thinks about how she's always had her hair cut by her mom and not at a salon, which prompts Aya to recommend Hot Pepper Beauty (a real life salon that this comic is a promotion for) on her smartphone. Sana creates a reservation, and Akito Hayama (introduced as "Sana's boyfriend") expresses confusion over why Sana is making such a big fuss over a simple haircut, with Tsuyoshi rationalizing that Akito wouldn't understand since he cuts his hair himself often.
Later at the salon, Sana gets her hair styled, and she feels refreshed in the same way Fuka described. Akito, having decided to make an appointment as well, collides with Sana (opening the door to leave), and remarks at how simple of a solution getting her hair done was. Rei picks Sana up to take her to a job, as Akito sits in the salon chair to get his hair done as well.
