What's Happened so Far[]
Sana is a very popular child star who works in TV and movies. Last year, her mother Misako wrote a book revealing that she had found Sana on a park bench and adopted her. The turmoil that followed was very difficult for Sana, but throughout it all, her friend Akito stood by her and provided emotional support. Sana and Akito were drawn to each other almost from the start, but things never went smoothly for them.
Recently, Akito's classmate Kazuyuki ran away, leaving a "suicide" note behind that blamed Akito! When Akito went to find Kazuyuki, Akito was able to bring the troubled youth back alive... But Akito was stabbed and severely injured in the process. Akito survived the stabbing, but his right hand is paralyzed as a result. While Akito recuperated in the hospital, Fuka realized the strength of Akito's love for Sana, and broke up with him.
Just when things finally seemed to be going well, Akito's father decided to move the family to Los Angeles. When Sana heard the news, the shock brought on a condition her mother dubbed the "Doll Syndrome" as Sana no longer showed any emotion on her face. Sana suffered this condition once before, when she was seven years old. The key to her recovery then was a chance meeting with Naozumi... What will do it this time?
