What is Kodocha? It's the smash-hit comedy series from Japan about what happens when child star Sana Kurata tries to "fix" the problems of everyone around her. And there are a LOT of problems to solve. Sana has zero confidence in her budding romance with Hayama, and is unsure if their relationship is destined to sizzle... or fizzle. When Hayama pretends to be Fuka's boyfriend while Sana is on location, rumors fly and tempers flare. Then when a sleazy tabloid prints a false story about her alleged "hot-and-heavy romance" with Naozumi, Sana is forced to fight back especially when she's attacked by Naozumi's jealous fans. Sana won't give up either, until these kings of sleaze eat their words ... and clear her name, once and for all!

What's Happened so Far[]
Sana is a popular child star who appears on TV in shows, movies and ads. During sixth grade last year, she was having a pretty bad time at school because of a class bully named Akito. But they became friends and the class' problems were solved. But just when everything seemed to be going well, Sana's mother wrote a book revealing that she'd found Sana abandoned on a park bench and adopted her. Sana felt like her whole world was falling apart and she began to panic, but Akito was there to support her and helped her calm down. When Sana finally met her birth mother, she thanked her for giving birth to her but told her she never wanted to see her again. Sana then went home to tell Misako how she really felt that Misako is her "real" mother. Akito wanted to tell Sana how he felt, but when he couldn't say the words, he just kissed her. Unfortunately, Sana isn't sure what his kiss really meant. As she was trying to figure that out, junior high started and Sana met a new girl, Fuka... Only to learn that when they were little, Akito kissed Fuka! Now Sana's really confused!
