What is Kodocha? It's the smash-hit comedy series from Japan about what happens when child star Sana Kurata tries to "fix" the problems of everyone around her. And there are a LOT of problems to solve. Sana and Hayama finally admitted their love for each other...but, unfortunately, Fuka heard their confession. Since Sana doesn't want to betray her friend, she tells Hayama she doesn't like him anymore. They both try to move on-but Sana and Hayama can't seem to forget each other. Hayama's grades drop and his relationship with Fuka hits the skids. Just when things look like they can't get any worse, a guy named Komori threatens suicide when Hayama refuses to be his friend. Hayama goes to find him, and Sana prays everything works out before someone loses their mind...or their life.

What's Happened so Far[]
Sana is a very popular child star who works on TV and in movies (and does lots of commercials), but goes to a regular school... Last year, her mother, Misako, wrote a book revealing that she had found Sana on a park bench and adopted her. After the book came out, Sana met with her birth mother, but the end result was a much stronger bond between Sana and Misako, whom she declared was her "real" mother. Throughout all the turmoil, Akito was there for Sana, and the two "friends" ended up becoming much closer, as well. When they all started junior high, Sana became friends with the new girl, Fuka. But when Sana got a chance to star in a movie, she had to leave school for three months on location. While she was away, tabloids started printing rumors that she and her co-star Naozumi were dating-and after the stories came out, his fans attacked her, leaving her with bruises and a broken leg! And if that wasn't bad enough, she called Akito and found out he'd started dating Fuka! The shock made her finally realize that what she feels for Akito is not friendship, but love. Somehow, she made it to the end of the film shoot and returned back to school, where she tried to just avoid Fuka and Akito...But one night on TV, Naozumi tells an interviewer that Sana loves someone else...Someone who came by to see her off when she left for location. Of course, that boy was Akito, and now he knows how Sana really feels about him. What will happen next?!
