What is Kodocha? It's the smash-hit comedy series from Japan about what happens when child star Sana Kurata tries to "fix" the problems of everyone around her. And there are a LOT of problems to solve. Well, it's official! Sana Sana and Hayama are a genuine couple. It takes some time, but soon everyone gets used to the concept of Sana and Hayama as a happy - loving twosome - even Fuka supports their relationship. But just when everything seems to be going great, some news from far away puts their budding relationship in jeopardy, and Sana's unexpected reaction is nothing to smile about. What's Happened so Far[]
Sana is a very popular child star who works in TV and movies (and does lots of commercials). Last year, her mother Misako wrote a book revealing that she had found Sana on a park bench and adopted her. The turmoil that followed was very difficult for Sana, but throughout it all, her friend Akito stood by her and provided emotional support. When junior high started, Sana became friends with the new girl, Fuka but when Sana had to leave school to work on a movie for three months, Fuka and Akito started dating. When Sana came home, she and Akito finally admitted that they loved each other - but Sana didn't want to hurt Fuka so she decided to just stay away from both of them. When she finally went to visit them at school, she found out that Akito's classmate, Kazuyuki, vanished, leaving a "suicide" note behind that blamed Akito! Akito decided that he should go and find Kazuyuki, and managed to bring him back safely... But in the process, Akito was stabbed and badly injured. He survived, but is still suffering from a paralyzed right arm. While Akito recuperates in the hospital, Fuka realizes the strength of his love for Sana, and breaks up with him. The door is finally open for Sana and Akito to find each other...
